Alt Tags
Adding Alt Tags To Images for Top Seo Rankings.
Alt tags are used to specify alternative text (alt text) when images are not able to be shown on a website. So if a reader comes to your site and your image isn't displayed, then it's important to have your keyword assigned as the alt text to show the content that's being displayed.
There are a lot people that surf the internet that have text-only browsers and have their graphics turned off. That's why it's important to assign an alt tag to your images so that these users will know what your content is about. Assigning alt text is especially important to those who are visually impaired.
Lets' take the picture below for instance. I have the alt text as "alt tags" because that's the keyword that I'm writing content about. If I had the same image set to "alttgs123" instead, the reader would have no clue what that means.
